Walking into
Gail Jensen’s Studio GG is nothing short of amazing,
but don't take my word for it. The producers of HGTV's "Look
What I Did" also found Gail's home to be an artful
delight.

Gail and Dave Jensen, inspired by a trip to
Florida, redo their living room in a tropical jungle style,
with such touches as new Pergo floors and unique window treatments
made of fused glass and sticks.
Studio GG is where giant
commercial signs live peacefully with water ponds and tribal
art. A series of multi-level decks extend through a maze of
fountains, sculptures and gazebos leading into a garage decked
with vintage Coca-Cola dispensers, classic neon signs, and
retro pin-up calendars.
Similarly fashioned seating
areas are scattered around the building housing the fused
glass studio. Equipped with three state-of-the-art kilns and
an impressive array of specialty tools, supplies, and machinery,
the studio provides ample room, light, and ambiance to design
and manipulate the glass into perfection. Oddities hang everywhere
and wide open utility doors allow the artistic décor
of the village-like complex to become part of the experience.
In a nutshell, Studio GG
is a delightful stray from the ordinary and whether serious
about glass fusion or simply a guest, it's a fun and cheerful
place to visit.
Fused glass classes are
available for Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced students.
Reservations are limited. Please
contact Gail Jensen at Studio GG for dates and details.
